ABOUT
Green Electricity Tariff (GET) is a subscription-based solution catering to eco-friendly consumers and organisations to power residential and business premises with green electrons from Renewable Energy (RE) certified with the internationally recognised Malaysia Renewable Energy Certificate (mREC).​

For 2025, consumers can opt to subscribe to an additional GET premium rate from 8 sen/kWh* with a longer subscription period. Subject to the total quota available up 6,600 GWh, all TNB consumers can subscribe to the GET program via myTNB portal from 11.00am, 1st March 2025 onwards.

GET Benefits
Imbalance Cost Pass-Through (ICPT) Exemption
ICPT will not be charged in your bill for actual green energy used (limit up to the number of GET blocks subscribed).
Internationally Recognised
Malaysia Renewable Energy Certificate (mREC) will be issued after the calendar year to certify total green electricity consumed for the year.
GET Features
Consumers will pay:
Standard tariff rates as per Tariff Schedule applies for your total monthly electricity consumption
GET premium subscription rate:
**Tariff: Domestic A, Commercial B, Industrial D, Mining F, Specific Agriculture H and Streetlight G & G1
**Tariff: Commercial C1, C2, C3 & C4, Industrial E1, E2, & E3, Mining F1 & F2 and Specific Agriculture H1 & H2

Minimum subscription starts from one (1) block subject to Residential and Non-Residential category.
Residential :

Notes: On a first-come, first-served basis subject to TNB's assessment and quota availability.
Subscription period until 31st December based on the preferred subscription period
GET subscription will be renewed automatically for the subsequent period based on preferred subscription period.
Option to backdate subscription is available from 1st January 2025.

i. Early termination of subscription will be subjected to a termination fee as specified in GET terms and conditions.

Subscription limit is up to 130% of average monthly consumption inclusive of existing subscription.

Changes to GET terms and conditions are subject to Government's review from time to time.

GET Consumer is not allowed to reduce or terminate during subscription period.

GET subscription period is until 31st December every year and is auto-renewal.
