GREEN ELECTRICITY TARIFF
ABOUT
Green Electricity Tariff, or GET, is a Government initiative to provide the option of green electricity coming from renewable energy supply to any electricity consumer to reduce their carbon footprint.

This GET programme is a part of the nation's initiatives to achieve net-zero GHG emissions by the year 2050.
​
GET subscribers will be supplied with green electricity coming from Solar and Hydro generators. On top of that, the green electricity is backed by Malaysia Renewable Energy Certificates (mREC) which is based on international REC standards.

Subscription of GET will be opened on 11th August 2023, 11am to 5pm through www.mytnb.com.my.

GET Features
Subscribers to Pay :
Standard applicable tariff as per the Tariff Schedule for their monthly electricity consumption.
Additional payment of 21.8 sen/kWh for the total RE generation subscribed.

Imbalance Cost
Pass-Through (ICPT) Charge Exemption:
ICPT is waived for total kWh coming from GET subscription

Changes to GET terms and conditions are subject to Government's review from time to time.

GET Consumer is not allowed to increase, reduce or terminate during subscription period.
